Cyclopropanecarboxylic acid(CPCA) is the intermediate of trinexapac-ethyl which is the plant growth regulator. It also can be used as pharmaceutical intermediate. It can be used to the synthesis of pyrethroid pesticides and cyclopropane norfloxacin( antibacterial drugs) etc medicine.

Cyclopropylamine(CPA) is the intermediate of organic and medicinal synthesis. It can be used to the synthesis of the cyclopropane norfloxacin(new antibacterial drugs), such as ciprofloxacin, enrofloxacin, sparfloxacin etc. Besides, CPA is also an important intermediate for the synthesis of pesticide, plant protestants and herbicide.
